Thyroid Ca Pts Diagnosed Before 40 Face Higher Risks

Orlando, Fla.—Previous studies have shown that thyroid cancer is associated with an increased risk for developing cardiovascular disease, hypertension and osteoporosis. Now, a new study presented at the 2017 Cancer Survivorship Symposium has found that patients diagnosed before 40 years of age have greater risks than those diagnosed after that age.
