Results from the largest analysis to date comparing outcomes with surgery either alone or with perioperative radiotherapy (RT) for retroperitoneal sarcoma have found that combining the two modalities improves survival for this subgroup of sarcoma patients (Lancet Oncol 2016 May 17.
