FDA Gives Full Approval to Avastin for Recurrent GBM

The FDA has granted full approval for bevacizumab (Avastin, Genentech) for the treatment of adults with glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) that has progressed after prior therapy. Bevacizumab previously was granted accelerated approval for this indication.
