FDA Approves Azedra for Patients With Rare Adrenal Cancers

The FDA approved iobenguane I 131 (Azedra, Progenics)—the first treatment for patients with rare, unresectable adrenal gland tumors (pheochromocytoma or paraganglioma [PPGL]) that are locally advanced or metastatic and require systemic therapy.
