Cost of Drugs Used by Seniors Rose 8.4% in 2017: AARP Report

Retail prices of many of the most commonly used brand-name drugs by older adults increased by an average of more than 8% last year, according to a report released by the AARP Public Policy Institute on Sept. 26.

The increase was less than in previous years, but it is still exceeds the general inflation rate of 2.1%.
