New Orleans—Vice President Joe Biden told more than 4,000 attendees at the 2016 annual meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research that his job as leader of the Cancer Moonshot Task Force was to remove political barriers, foster collaboration and data sharing, and realign incentives in cancer research to “end cancer as we know it.”
Mr. Biden said he was taking this job at a time when there are incredible advances against cancer on the horizon.
