Researchers have pinpointed the gene that’s responsible for metastatic triple-negative breast cancer, according to a recently published study.
Reporting in Science Translational Medicine (2022 Feb 2. doi:10.1126/scitranslmed.abf5473), the researchers detailed the role of the CECR2 gene in breast cancer metastasis.
“We are constantly searching for new effective therapeutic strategies to help patients with this potentially deadly disease,” senior study author Qin Yan, PhD, the
